Diana Blosser — Dreamwork, Piano Lessons, Soul Collage, Labyrinth Walks, Spiritual Direction, and more

About Me

I am a person who values faith in our creator, family, education, and music–to name the “big” things. After growing up in a small Pennsylvania town where my father was one of two doctors, I headed south to Decatur, GA to attend Agnes Scott College. I have stayed in Georgia for the last fifty-plus years! I met my husband(s) here, adopted children, went to graduate school, and worked a variety of jobs.

At this point in my life, I see myself as a Crone, using Jean Shinoda Bolen’s definition that “a crone is a woman who has wisdom, compassion, humor, courage, and vitality.” She also says “a crone is a juicy older woman with zest, passions, and soul.”

The other author who has influenced me is the poet, Mary Oliver. One of my Pastoral Care professors at Columbia Seminary introduced me to her poem, Sometimes. In that poem she gives instructions for living a life: “Pay attention. Be astonished. Tell about it.” These seven words are now etched in my being, and my Soul.

I have taught school (kindergarten, elementary, college), worked in Continuing Education at Georgia State and Clayton State, taught hundreds of piano students of all ages, been a church organist/choir director, and developed many workshops and done retreats on a variety of subjects. Along the way I have picked up a wide variety of certifications as you can see under my credentials.
